Beaminster Area Team Rector, the Rev Canon David Baldwin, and team vicar Rev Jo Neary, from Broadwindsor, are walking 26 miles today on a trek that will take in all their churches.
The sponsored walk is in aid of the team’s mission fund which carries out outreach work on behalf of local children, schools and families.
The event is part of the global Thy Kingdom Come prayer movement being celebrated between Ascension and Pentecost.
The pair set off at 6 am this morning from South Perrott and will walk to Beaminster, Netherbury, Hooke, Drimpton, Salway Ash, Blackdown, Mapperton, Burstock, Seaborough, Broadwindsor, Stoke Abbott, Mosterton, Melplash and Toller Porcorum.
