Cllr Sherry Jesperson, North Dorset District Council’s portfolio holder for community & regeneration, said: “We are delighted to switch to JustPark as our mobile payment provider for our parking machines. We found that the customer-focused app was simple to use – and we aren’t the only ones, as they boast 4.9/5 star rating on the app store.”
Cllr Colin Huckle, Weymouth & Portland Borough Council’s briefholder for transport and infrastructure, said: “Additional features on the app include showing local car parks costs and further details, such as when they open and close, which is really handy.”
From 18 June to 18 July 2018, both the old mobile payment supplier – Phone & Pay – and the new one – JustPark – will be taking payment for car parks. However, you must start using JustPark by 18 July. Users will still be able to use coins if they prefer.
