The Devil makes work for idle hands, and Doorbells were made for pushing. The Devil’s Doorbells play a mix of trad and originals with subjects as diverse as coal mining to anarchist uprisings to Alan Titchmarsh on Desert Island Discs. It’s music to cleanse and then to dirten. Pushing it, the debut album was recorded in fields and car parks via solar power.
