A man has been arrested after officers carried out a drugs warrant in Bridport.
At around 5.50pm on Thursday 15 November 2018 officers executed a warrant at an address in the Bradpole area of the town.
During a search of the premises a quantity of suspected class A and class B drugs were recovered and seized by officers.
A 41-year-old local man arrived at the premises in a vehicle during the searches and was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply, possession of class A and class B drugs and driving offences. He is has been released under investigation as officers continue their enquiries.
Police Constable Jake Woodbridge, of Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Our local officers are committed to disrupting the activity of suspected drug dealers in the town and regularly carry out proactive operations as part of these efforts.
“We are focussed on working with our partner agencies and the local community to act on any concerns people have in relation to reported drug-related activity.
“I would urge residents in the town to tell us about any suspected drug dealing, drug use or related criminal activity so we can act on that information.”
