A book has been published by the trustees of the Bridport Area Development Trust to celebrate the restoration of the Bridport Literary and Scientific Institute.
Written by Dr Tim Connor, the book contains an illustrated history of the building in its various guises since it was opened in 1836 as a mechanics institute.
The LSI is a non-profit, charitable trust. The cost of the book is £9.99, and all proceeds from sales go towards development of the LSI for the benefit of the community. For more details, visit the website.
